Grant Applications

The mission of the NCHA Foundation is to serve the NCHA and its members, by educating our youth, protecting the horse, preserving our past, and securing the future of the sport of cutting.

The NCHA Foundation is pleased to review requests which fulfill the following areas of focus that define the tenets of our organization: 

  • Youth Programs & Scholarships

  • Animal Welfare Research

  • Historical Preservation

  • Continued Education of the Sport of Cutting

 

Contact and Deadlines

Grant request are currently reviewed twice a year.  Submission deadlines are currently March 15th and September 15th.  

All grant request, which are found to be within the NCHA Foundation’s areas of focus, and submitted by the due dates, will be reviewed by our board of trustees. Requests submitted after 11:59pm CST on March 15th or September 15th will be placed in the next grant cycle.  No late submissions will be accepted. Decisions for funding are made in late March and late September, respectively. Notifications and payments are made shortly after the decisions.

Request for Proposal

Please provide the following information in your proposal:

  • A clear indication of the area(s) of focus you feel your request best aligns.

  • A brief explanation detailing the need for funding, benefit of funding, and projected outcome for your request.

  • A description of how you will measure the success/impact of the event, program, research etc. on your organization.

  • Date(s) and location of event, program, research etc.

  • A budget detailing how you intend to utilize the requested grant.
